At Implants Pro Center®, we are proud to work with leading dental technologies to bring the smile you want to life. As one of the first robot-assisted implant surgery centers in San Francisco, we’re constantly striving to break from conventional treatment modalities- our office is setting new standards in the implant industry.
Yomi® offers critical assistance for personalized surgical planning. Yomi® guides our implantologist’s hand throughout implant surgery, while still allowing for dynamic adjustments per Dr. Ali’s clinical expertise. Yomi® provides a minimally invasive approach, leading to faster surgery and faster recovery. Robotic haptic guidance gives our implantologists increased accuracy, precision, and excellent visibility, maximizing our success in your treatment.
Our CT-scan is medical grade, typically used in head and neck surgery practices. The scanner produces high-definition 3D models to better plan your dental treatments. Additionally, the scanner allows for clearer visualizations of your teeth and surrounding bone. Our CT scanner is unique to our office; working collaboratively with our Yomi® robot. Compared to traditional X-rays, cone beam CT scans lead to more effective identification and diagnosis of oral problems.
Intravenous sedation is used to alleviate anxiety associated with dental procedures. Patients report no recollection of their procedures following sedation. Our office uses several methods to monitor patients under sedation-through blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and capnography.
Periolase technology sterilizes the gum pockets around the teeth to prevent gum infection post-treatment. Periolase works by boosting the energy of the cells in the soft tissue of the gums. Growth hormones are then released, while cytokines aid in healing and regenerating good tissue. This technology most benefits patients in need of gum and periodontal structure treatments.
Photofunctionalization provides enhanced bonding (osseous integration) of implants to bone by treating dental implant surfaces with UV rays. Dental implants typically have 45-55% of their surfaces active for bonding to the surrounding bone when first taken from its vial. When treating dental implants with photofunctionalization, the percentage of active surfaces on dental implants more than doubles, contributing to more stable implants and better overall healing post-operation.
Tooth loss and damage to the jaw bone and tissues pose a challenge for your dentist during oral surgery or implant placement. Without enough support in the jaw bone, dental implants cannot be immediately stabilized and tissue healing can be a long process. The solution is Platelet Therapy, created from your own blood. Leukocyte – Platelet Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) promotes healing and bone growth from within by using your own blood. With a blood draw and an advanced technology protocol, L-PRF is individually made custom for you. L-PRF guarantees improved healing response and significantly less recovery time.
The piezosurge is a surgical unit which aids in cutting and harvesting bone grafts. The piezosurge makes bone surgeries significantly safer with its minimally invasive technology. Using the piezosurge benefits our patients when we operate close to the mandibular nerve or the maxillary sinuses, reducing postoperative discomfort.
Lasers are used to sterilize gum pockets around the teeth to prevent post-treatment gum infection. Laser treatment boosts the energy of the cells in the soft tissue of the gums, releasing growth hormones and cytokines which expedites healing and regeneration of good tissue. Laser technology is most beneficial for patients in need of gum and periodontal structure treatments.
Digital X-rays are advantageous in early detection of infection and preventative dental care. Advanced image manipulation allows us to detect early stages of gum disease through record of bone level changes.
The VELscope is an oral cancer screening device, which helps determine precancerous lesions in routine examinations. Should our patients show signs of precancerous lesions, we can immediately advise the best way forward for further treatment. This is huge for patient safety, as early discovery of oral cancer makes a huge difference in the success of cancer therapy.
The pulse oximeter is placed on the fingertip to read oxygen saturation levels in your blood to assure enough oxygen reaches the brain. All patients are medically monitored using pulse oximetry during their surgery.
The Extraoral Dental Suction System is designed to reduce droplet and aerosol sprays inherent to dental procedures. This helps eliminate airborne bacteria, viruses, contamination, and ultimately protect our staff and patients.
Patients with parafunctional habits (grinding and/or clenching) unintentionally subject implants and their natural teeth to excessive and premature stress, which can contribute to implant failure and tooth fractures. Botox injections are proven to provide relaxation of overactive muscles, and will alleviate all associated risks of implant failure and fractures.
